Midland Quarry Products (MQP) is a highly successful joint venture between Tarmac Ltd and Hanson UK, operating across the East and West Midlands. MQP’s strategy is to give our customers what they want when we promise it, have valued employees and minimise our impact on the environment.

We have the following vacancy based at Cliffe Hill Quarry. Experience of working in a quarrying environment is highly preferable but training will be given.

LOADING SHOVEL DRIVER – NIGHT SHIFT

• Carry out daily vehicle inspection checks and complete documentation accordingly.
• Ensure excellent customer service through efficient and accurate loading of products.
• Ensure product quality by maintaining stockpiles and mixing products where required.
• General housekeeping duties to ensure the site is well maintained.
• Flexibility to cover other roles within training and capabilities.
• Working in a safe manner to ensure the Health & Safety of yourself and those around you.
