Midland Quarry Products Ltd (MQP) is a highly successful wholly owned subsidiary of Hanson UK operating predominantly across the East & West Midlands aggregate and asphalt markets.

Working as part of the East Midlands Sales Team, the primary purpose of this field based position is to generate sales of asphalt and aggregates through the effective management and development of new and existing customers within your market area.

Duties include identifying, managing and tracking sales opportunities and, in conjunction with the Internal Sales Team, building strong customer relationships and establishing market knowledge of customer and competitor activity. The Sales Team is also required to produce management information for planning and forecasting purposes.

This role will require the successful applicant to demonstrate high levels of customer service, drive and determination. A proven track record of sales and negotiation skills within our market sector is essential.
