Open Day a Huge Success!
 
MQP would like to say thank you to everyone who attended the Open Day which was held at Stanton Under Bardon Recreation ground Leicestershire on Saturday 16th July 2005.

The highlight of the day for people was the chance to watch a blast in Old Cliffe Hill Quarry. There was also the chance to go on a tour through the tunnel from Old Cliffe Hill to New Cliffe Hill and view the rail loading area, Laboratory and Asphalt Plant.

Back at the recreation ground there were many activities for children including bouncy castles, a bungee run, giant activity centre, magic show, childrens balloon race etc.

The day was rounded off nicely with a Disco and Hog Roast.

All monies from the event were be donated to the Stanton Under Bardon Village Hall Appeal.
