John Bettison, Cliffe Hill Quarry electrician, recently led a team of "Intrepid MQP Warriors" in the local 'It's a Knockout' Derby held at Coalville Football Club. John's "Braves" included Tom Conlon, Steve Baxter, Tony Cory, George Close, Andy Cope and Dave Stevenson. A great time was had by all and their efforts raised £1,000 for charity, split between Coalville Community Resource Centre and the NSPCC. Well done lads!
