Whilst these are the main core hours of the business, extended hours can be arranged with the order office as required.

Our New Apshalt Plant in Wednesbury is open for business!

This represents a significant investment by Midland Quarry Products to our core Midlands market. Following the phased exhaustion of our Edwin Richards Quarry in the Rowley hills, it was recognised that a replacement operation capable of satisfying the changing and challenging market was required which could support our customers and offer even greater reliability and flexibility.    

Wednesbury supplies a full range of coated macadam’s, hot rolled asphalts and other specialist materials (see product catalogue); from its new Ammann asphalt plant.

The Asphalt Plant can supply materials 24 hours a day, 365 days a year on either a delivered or collect basis, with the large hot storage capacity offering greater customer focus and improved customer service.

The innovative design allows for the unit to switch from road to rail haulage of imported materials once the Walsall to Stourbridge rail line has been reopened.  The facility also includes state of the art energy saving equipment. This along with many other Environmental considerations, including recycled products, will reduce the environmental impact on the surrounding area in the busy Birmingham conurbation.
