MQP Dragon Boat race raises over £2,000 for Charity

MQP employees recently took part in the Nottingham Riverside Festival Dragon Boat Challenge in aid of our nominated charity, Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.

Dragon Boat Racing is one of the fastest growing water activities in the UK. Up to 10 people paddle each 30' boat with a drummer at the front beating time and our helm at the tail steering a straight course.

Our team of 10 proudly represented the company and raised £2,350 for the charity.

Team Captain, Sam Moore said: “We had a great time over the 200m race course which was cheered on by thousands of spectators and we are naturally delighted with the amount we raised for Rainbows and would like to thank all our sponsors for their support.”
