The company provides a comprehensive range of single sized and blended Drystone aggregates and supplier of asphalts, to meet most of the demands of the building, construction and rail industries. We manufacture a large range of Asphalt products to comply with current British Standard and Highway agency specifications, including a number of proprietary products to fulfil specific customer needs.
The business operates two quarries and five asphalt plants in the East and West Midlands, including the award winning and internationally recognised Cliffe Hill Quarry in Leicestershire. As an independent and autonomous Midlands based company, it is totally focused on meeting and, where possible, exceeding customer expectations.
Formed in December 1996 MQP controls more than 200 million tonnes of consented reserves. Its extensive in-house resources are strengthened by services available through its parent companies, Tarmac and Hanson.
