The current MQP fleet profile is made up of a range of 5, 6, 8 wheelers plus articulated vehicles. It has evolved over the years to provide a selection of size and specification vehicles to meet customer demand.
The majority of the fleet are 32 tonne 8 wheel vehicles pay load of 20 tonnes and are the mainstay of our fleet and tend to be the most popular vehicle size preferred by our customer base. We have a smaller fleet consisting of 5 wheeler (14 tonnes) and 6 wheeler (16 tonnes) vehicles which we have seen a recent upturn in demand. We have retro fitted many of these vehicles with split boards and tail board chutes to meet the demand of our customers.
The fleet profile is reviewed as customer demand dictates and aim to be as flexible as possible planning and amending as appropriate.
We measure Hauliers performance, attendance, time, tonnes delivered, customer care complaints etc to ensure that we are fulfilling our vision to give the customer ‘What they want when they want it’
