MQP helps out the DIY SOS BBC TV programme

The team from the BBC show were revamping the home of a young family when they called asking for support.

Transport Supervisor Sam Moore said the company were happy to supply material for the drive and garden for the August filming in West Bromwich.

“They needed 15 tonnes of Type 1 aggregate, six tonnes of sharp sand and four tonnes of dust, which all came from our Cliffe Hill quarry,” said Sam, who was invited to see the upgraded semi-detached house being revealed to the family.

“It is fantastic to be involved in something like this – MQP have helped make a difference to this family’s life.”
