MQP helps Scouts with new HQ

Midland Quarry Products has come to the aid of Whitwick Scouts by donating 200 tonnes of hard core material to help build a new headquarters for the Group.

Scout Leader Pete Nicholls was full of praise for MQP:  "We could not have commenced this project without the help and support of MQP.  I would particularly like to express our gratitude to Richard Nevin, Cliffe Hill Manager and fellow Scout.  Richard has been a friend to the Group for many years and his assistance has been invaluable."

The 19 metres by 10 metres modern base, which will frequently be used by around 100 Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Leaders, is located near MQP's own headquarters and should hopefully be completed by Christmas.
