MQP - part of the local community

MQP takes its role as a good neighbour very seriously. We strive to build, maintain and enhance our strong links with local community groups.  Many of our staff live in the areas that we operate and we are only too pleased to support local worthy causes and events.

Recently we have supported Richard Gunn's sponsored walk for LCFC Foxes Foundation. Richard ran 46 full laps in 82 minutes round Leicester City Football Club's pitch and MQP was delighted to cheer him on Richard said: "I would like to say a massive thank you for the support I have received from Midland Quarry Products to help me raise sponsorship for LCFC Foxes Foundation chosen local charities."

MQP has also supported Market Bosworth Rugby Football Club's  "John Ward Memorial Minis Festival" where 800 junior players from around Leicestershire played 85 games, a truly remarkable event.  MQP has also recently assisted Stanton under Bardon Village Hall's "Flicks in the Sticks" cinema nights.  The company has also been very pleased to be associated with the "Woodstock in Whitwick" music festival and supported the charity "Hope against Cancer", Myton Hospice, and donated material to Groby Parish Council. MQP will also be supporting Groby Street Fair later on in the year.
